Information about RAR files and how to open them
The RAR - WinRAR Compressed Archive, is a widely used file compression and decompression utility. It was developed by Eugene Roshal, the RAR - "Roshal Archive - format is named in his honor. RAR is similar to the Zip compression format but is based on proprietary technology, and has a higher level of compression to what is possible with Zip. 7-Zip uses RAR algorithms.
